America's Issues

My main goals as president are to fix this country and restore America back to its full glory. Our citizen's needs have been ignored for too long, with past presidents focusing on what they wanted instead of solving the problems of the people. These are the focal issues that my campaign will target.

Immigration

Past presidents have tried and failed over and over again to resolve the issue America has with immigration. I plan to secure America's borders, not spend all our money on new ones.

Felon Voting

I believe that voting is not a privilege, but a right that all American citizens have. My voting reform plans would allow former/current felons that are current American citizens to vote after certain requirements are made.

Environmental Problems
Global warming, harmful gas emissions, and the excessive removal of trees are only a small number of the many environmental issues America holds. During my presidency, I plan to focus on Mother Nature with clean energy bills, revised recycling plans, and of course, the help of the people.

More Issues

Economy
I will improve economy by evening out our stock markets while also assisting in the creation of smaller businesses and maintain the economic stability.

International Affairs
Good relationships with other countries and governments are essential for many things this nation needs such as trade, aid, and more. I will work on building many alliances to benefit our country.

Security
Security in America is often brushed off as a topic that is to be addressed another day or not a problem at all. However, this is clearly not the case. Terrorism, racism, shootings, and many more are a danger to our society. I want our people to be able to go about their everyday routines without being scared for their lives.

AN OPEN LETTER ON CRIMINAL VOTING
Vertical Divider
Felon voting has been and still is a severely overlooked problem in America. It is something that has been debated over ever since the birth of this nation, existing even in the age of revolution. Time and time again, people have been asking the same question; should felons be allowed to vote? To put it shortly, here's what I think; yes, I believe that under most circumstances, both felons and former felons should be allowed to vote.
Presidents of the past have tried and failed to resolve this problem in the appropriate way. For example, the many laws preventing felons and even reformed felons in extreme cases, as demonstrated with Florida's law system. I, however, view felon disenfranchisement as unconstitutional. As an American citizen, voting is not a privilege, but a right. Taking away the right to vote is not something that should be allowed. However, I have not overlooked that the people in question are criminals. This is why my reform plan will include a set number of requirements that must be passed before felons are allowed to vote. These requirements will include things like morality, sensibility, rationality, and more. Once these are passed, an application will be sent out. If it is approved, voting will be available. As president, I will be a representative of the people, so it is your choice. So help me fix the wrong, and vote for Hong.
